How to clean an electric kettle?
Fill up ¾ of jar with vinegar water mix / lemon water mix / baking soda water mix for cleaning the Kettle, boil it, unplug the power pin, allow the mix to cool down, detach the jug from the base if it has detachable base, keep the power cord away
When it cools down shake it and rinse jug with normal water. And for double check add normal water place the base and let the water boil, once it done let it cool down and remove the water from jar, and then clean it with dry cloth, now it clean
How to maintain the safety of cord?
Never ever try to wash the cord, always keep way form getting wet, if the kettle have cord holder then roll it properly to the holder to keep it safe.
